SWAMPED!! o lo que viene a ser lo mismo... EMPANTANAO!!

Entrega calentita desde el deforme horno cerebral de este colega que os habla! Llevaba mucho tiempo con este dibujo empezado y me decidí a terminarlo estos últimos dias. Un dibujo bastante aleatorio, pero al que le he dado su propio significado, y es que... acaso no jode cuando tienes la mente "empantaná"? Los que seais dibujantes o creativos en general sabrán de qué hablo. Pues bien, este dibujo es un reflejo de esa sensación.

Por cierto, me gustaría añadir (off topic) que dentro de poco terminaré una maqueta en solitario, la cual obviamente postearé aquí para descarga del personal! :) A partir de ese momento, volveré a dibujar como un cosaco y este lugar cogerá la vida que necesita.

Hot delivery right from the deformed brain oven of this guy talking/typing!  I had this drawing halfway done for too much time, so I decided to finish it a couple of days ago. A pretty random piece, yet it already has meaning: Don't you feel all pissed of whenever your brains are swamped? You know, creative mind blocks... all artists and creatives in general will know what I'm talking about. Well, this drawing is the reflection of all that.
By the way, I'd also like to say (off topic) I started a solo project (in music) a couple of months ago and the demo is almost finished, which obviously I'll post around here so you can all download it :) From that moment, I'll go back to draw full time and post more entries so this place can be filled with the life it needs!!

Un regalo todavía pendiente de enmarcar y ser regalado (pa' matarme).
Qué enigmáticos son los cuervos, esos animalitos tan oscuros e inteligentes. Sencillamente me fascinan, así que no será la última vez que se vean plasmados en algún dibujo mio (de hecho es la segunda vez, sin contar los carteles).

Casi todos mis dibujos suelen tener una banda sonora, y este ya la tenía desde antes de nacer:

How enigmatic ravens are, those dark and smart birds. Simply fascinating, so this won't be the last time they will be captured in some drawing of mine (actually it's the second time already).

Cartelería retrospective.

Para ir rellenando un poco el blog, aquí os dejo unos cuantos carteles de conciertos. Por si no notáseis la constante, os lo digo: Mi grupo se llama Ortus Sum. No, a mi tampoco me gusta el nombre. Nunca me gustó, pero lo quiero como una madre quiere a un hijo: como sea.

In order to fill up some space, I'm going to leave you a few gig posters. For those who didn't notice the constant, I'm telling you: My band is Ortus Sum. Nope, I don't like that name, specially when "ortus" sounds similar to "orto", and orto is some formal way to say "anus". Never did, never will like the name, but I love the band just the same way the mother loves the son/daughter: no matter how.

The posters are not in order of date.

Ante todo dar la bienvenida a cualquier terrícola que tenga la osadía, el corage, el estómago y el detalle de pasar por aquí. No tiene usted nada mejor que hacer? Apuesto a que sí... apuesto a que sí. 

Para ir apuntando maneras, adelanto que este blog será usado para mostrar mis progresos en el mundo del arte, ya sean dibujos, música (en solitario o con mi grupo) , e incluso si quizás me diera por hacer una película porno de esas en las que llevas máscaras venecianas sin estar en Venecia.Puede que también lo use para hablar u opinar sobre ciertos aspectos más sociales o más introspectivos, dependiendo del caso. 

 Comenzaré con mi último trabajo, un tanto aleatorio en sus inicios pero no exento de significado si se fija uno un poco en las piezas que lo forman (no creo que mi simbología sea muy compleja de descifrar)

First of all, I'd like to welcome to each and every earthling with the guts, courage and the thoughtful gesture of coming around here. Don't you have anything better to do??... I bet you do... I bet you do...

I'd like to share with all of you the purposes for this blog, which are mainly my improvements as both artist (drawings/photography) and musician (solo projects and main band evolution)... well, maybe I'd post here if I recorded one of those porn movies in which you wear venetian carnival masks without being in Venetia.
Social and introspective articles of opinion could also be written.
So, here you go, the first post: My last work "Raise ravens, it's for your own good". It comes from an old spanish proverb: "Cría cuervos y te sacarán los ojos"/"Raise raves and they'll pluck out your eyes". I bet you can find the meaning of the picture if you pay attention to the symbols. And if you don't, I hope you still like the pic by itself. :)
